simonandmartina

To all of those who love kpop, you should know these names. To those who don't.....DO YOU LIVE UNDER A FREAKIN' ROCK! Sorry....anyway.

I LOVE Simon and Martina! This Canadia duo is amazing. To also prove their awesomeness, they called their blog EATYOURKIMCHI (you gotta love that)! They do all sorts of crazy and fun things in Korea. I believe they are English teachers that teach English (no duh!) to Korean students. Therefore they live in Korea (really?!). I have been watching their channel for a while now, and I recommend that anybody who loves those wacky Koreans (take no offense, I am half-Korean) should watch their channel, simonandmartina. All the videos are in English. Thank goodness because I cannot speak Korean :) A lot of their videos provide an interesting foreigner outlook of Korean customs. The link is:

Every Monday, they release on of their Music Mondays where they release their review of a requested KPop music video. They rate it based on the actual video, the dance, and the English (being the grammar freaks [like me!] that they are). Request a current video, and you'll probably find a review of it soon.

They also have a new WTF segment in the Korea FTW section. It stands for Wonderful Treasure Find. They have great video's on poop cards to nose-shapers!

Among all those videos are also just videos about life in Korea. With their beautiful camera, they show great landscapes, cityscapes, and foodscapes of Korea. It seriously makes it really tempting to just fly to Korea with an empty suitcase and go shop all day long along with a camera.

Now also on their blog is a section of FAQ's about Korea. In there, they discuss living in Korea, food, Bucheon (the area where they live), blogging, pets in Korea, and teaching in Korea.

If you want to become a teacher in Korea even if you don't speak Korean, it is a great source.

I also recommend subscribing to their weekly newsletter. It provides links to new videos and also talks about Korean culture. There is also a Korean slang word thrown in their with a definition. GREAT STUFF GUYS!!!! I hope you people look into it because it is an amazing site!
